Just a little early, but what the heck

A couple of weeks, or thereabouts, ago we had some glorious weather! It was in the 60'sF! That's amazing for us in late January and February. Now it's cold again. Not like the east coast is getting, but still rather difficult to take after all that shirt sleeve, get and do something weather.

I knew it wouldn't last, but I soooo wanted to keep that taste of spring! So, I gave in and did something foolish. I started some peppers. Practical or not, aren't the beautiful?
:D

  1. Your peppers are lovely. Keep them in a sunny spot till you can plant them outdoors (in June?) and they will be fine. I love green peppers in everything.

My fruit trees burst into bloom last week thinking it was spring. Alas! Today it is below freezing again and might even snow. Afraid there will be no fruit this year.

    1. Thanks! We eat lots and lots and lots of peppers! :) I'm sorry to hear about the fruit trees, that's always a bummer. I've been wondering about ours as well. We had enough warm temps that the leaf buds started to swell a bit. Then it got cold, -3 this morning. I just hope they survived, the oldest in only 5 years old.
