Here's the final outside coat while still wet. We are in the process of getting tarps up to protect it from the wind, sun and rain. Very important!
Here's another shot of the tarps going up. We hung another one to cover the peak.
The final, dried coat is much darker than I thought it would be. We were supposed to use 4 color packets per bag of lime but, since we didn't have quite that many, we used 2. With 4 color packets, that thing may have been close to black. The white is from our water. We had a bit of rain yesterday and the white on the west side is already mostly gone.
I tried to get a smooth finish on the inside but that is WAY harder than I though it would be! In some places it worked, in some it didn't.
We did get the plastic off of the 2 south windows. It's staying on the west window til we get the last 2 walls done.
We have 2 walls, insulating the roof, making a door and doing something with the floor left until we can officially declare it finished. I think I am just going to stain the OSB and the poly it for the floor. We'll be pushing the limits of good weather as it is and oldest REALLY wants to move in!
