A better non slip grip for slippers

A few posts ago, I showed off some slippers that I had made and said I was going to sew shelf liner to make them, hopefully, not so slippery. A reader suggested using dimensional fabric paint instead.

WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER than the shelf liner idea!! Easy to apply and it accommodates the stretch factor much better than liner. I should maybe have applied it a little thicker, but it works.

The directions say to use a steam iron to make it puff, but I don't have one so I just held it over a whistling tea kettle instead.
