Note to self............

Just buy your stinkin' parmesan cheese at the store!

I like to make cheese and I experimented last year with a couple of wheels of parmesan. Let it age for the 10 months or so, etc. It's excellent! It smells and taste so wonderful and parmesanish! Yay. However, it is hard as a rock. Grating it by hand is a real PITA so I came up with the great idea of running it through the food processor. After that broke, I tried the blender. That broke as well. Grrrr! I did get most of it grated, but it is turning out to be rather expensive cheese!


On another note, I love spring in Montana. I get to pick asparagus in the snow. Barefoot. I love fresh aspargus!
