This blog brought to you by this computer, really

You may have noticed by now that we tend to 'redneck' things. Apparently, our computer is no exception. The poor thing looks awful but it still works very well. Most of the issue is the hinges. First one, then the other broke and as far as I can tell, you can't replace them. They seem to be all one plastic piece. If anyone knows different, feel free to let me know. Anyway, the hinges went and the top of the laptop began to separate. First we tried tape and a popsicle stick. That helped for a while, but after a bit it was a lost cause. No it has a clamp to hold the top together, tape and popsicle stick are still there and there is a piece of string holding the screen in our preferred position.. It's also missing a couple keys, courtesy of a visiting dog that thought he needed to be on my lap whilst it was occupied by the laptop. Fortunately, they are keys we just don't need much. :)

And, yes, I know it's dusty. Believe it or not, I thoroughly wipe it down 2-3 times a week but it will look like this by the end of the day. We also blow it out pretty often. It's just very, very dusty here.

Otherwise, it works great! :)
