Nasty quack grass

This is, in part, why I hate quack grass.

 That stuff grows runners that grow for several feet and will grow through anything in it's way. It'll totally take over a bed and practically eat anything you have growing there. I frequently find onions and potatoes in this condition and have even found a carrot once.

I've been told that it's planted on purpose as forage but none of my animals eat it. Maybe my growing conditions aren't good enough to make it tasty.
