Hope you all are having a good Thanksgiving!

It's a beautiful day here today! It's been cloudy the last couple of days and it snowed all yesterday. Today the sun is out and it's blinding out there. The animals are all out enjoying the sunshine as well. Well, all except the chickens. They are still mad at me for making it snow!

The turkey has been soaking in the brine for a couple of days now and we're going to cook her up on the bbq. It gives a wonderful, smokey flavor and that goes great with the brine I use. Also having mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, gravy, biscuits and a veggie. Then comes the pumpkin pie!
