My best Christmas present

So how was your Christmas? Ours was good, we even had a white Christmas. We woke up yesterday morning to 2"-3" of snow on the ground, just enough to be pretty!

My best present was this 60mm rotary cutter and cutting mat. No more cutting denim strips with scissors, yay!! This works soooo much better and sooo much faster! And so much less hand fatigue! Also, I can cut much thinner strips than I could with scissors. This thing goes through 4 layers of jean denim like butter. Totally awesome!!

I do need to get myself an acrylic quilters ruler or something, though. The ruler in the pic I've had since 6th grade and it's not up handling the rotary cutter very well. I've already cut a notch out of it.
