Well, I built one window in it I like to peek every so often and see what's up. I wish I had windows on more than one side and on my other hive, but I don't.
Anyway, it looks like the bees have been busy
building lots of comb. I don't see anything in it, but maybe there's more on the inside. I hope so.
Since it's been a long, hot and dry summer, I am feeding them and I hope it'll be enough to get them through the winter. It's been nothing but windy so I hesitate to really open up the hives. Hopefully they'll make it til next spring!
